From 2011 to 2016, Roland Kuras was a member of the Energie-Control Austria Commission for the Regulation of the Electricity and Natural Gas Industry. He has an exchange trader license at the European Energy Exchange AG-EEX futures market and is on the scientific advisory board of Danube University Krems. His areas of practice are the planning of sustainable energy systems, energy consulting and the support of energy communities.
